- You’ll never feel ready. Not 100%.
You’ll never feel ready. Not 100%.
No one is ready.
There’s this big lie we tell ourselves: “I’ll start when I’m ready.”
But you need to know - You’ll never feel ready. Not 100%.
I still remember when I first learned to ride a bicycle with a bunch of other kids when i was 5.
There were about 6 little kids, everyone had a chance to ride the bicycle around the playground.
I had never tried riding a bicycle before.
I remember I was just trying as best as I could, for as long as I could, to keep my feet off the ground and let the bicycle carry me a little bit longer each time.
And whenever I felt like I was about to fall, I’d put my feet back on the ground, steady myself, and try again.
I think when we were little, if we wanted to learn something or do something, we didn’t sit around thinking, “Now’s the time to start.” We didn’t say, “I don’t know how to ride a bicycle, so I won’t learn.”
In fact, it was the opposite.
When we had an idea—something we wanted to do—we just started. We tried. We learned from the process.
Can you imagine if, as a baby, you decided not to start walking because you thought you needed more time, more knowledge, or more confidence?
That would be so funny to imagine, right?
Every person you admire—every “great” you’ve ever looked up to—started somewhere.
So the truth is: You don’t have to be great to start. You have to start to be great.
Starting Isn’t About Perfection—It’s About Momentum.
When I first started building an online business, I thought I needed the perfect plan. But all that did was keep me stuck.
What did I learn?
Clarity comes from action, not overthinking.
I learned so much on this journey that I still haven’t found any book or mentor who taught me this in their course.
Because the only way to learn is to be on the journey.
Most of the time in our lives, when we have an idea and want to start something, like a business, we go on the internet, watch tons of videos on YouTube, and scroll through social media.
We take in so much information that, in the end, it’s like pouring a glass of juice with thousands of fruits and veggies.
Can you imagine the taste?
Sour, sweet, spicy, bitter… all together—awful!
It’s overwhelming.
This is why so many people don’t take action, even if they have a good idea.
I started building an audience not because I knew exactly what to do with it, or had a perfect plan for monetizing it.
It was because people asked me how I made my videos look dark aesthetic, how I created viral reels, and how I grew so fast.
So, I packaged my two style dark aesthetic presets as a product for download.
We just have to start, and then we’ll know.
You can make the process as simple as these 4 steps, and you’ll find it’s much easier to achieve your goals.
Focus on the Next Small Step.
Forget the big, overwhelming goal for a second.
Ask yourself: “What’s one thing I can do right now?”
Want to start a blog? Write one sentence.
Want to get fit? Do 10 squats.
Want to start a business? Reach out to one person.
Small steps build confidence. Confidence builds momentum. And momentum changes everything.
Drop the Perfectionism.
Perfection is the enemy of progress.
no one is perfect, it’s exactly the unperfect so we have a fuel drive us to be better.
The blog post doesn’t have to be perfect. The workout doesn’t have to be intense. The pitch doesn’t have to land perfectly.
What matters is that you show up—imperfectly, consistently.
What matters is what you learned from the process.
Learn As You Go.
Nobody starts as an expert.
You learn by doing. You improve by trying. And you grow by failing.
So stop waiting for the perfect conditions—they don’t exist.
Take messy action or any action, and trust yourself to figure it out along the way.
Start Now, Even If It Feels Small.
Greatness isn’t about a single leap.
It’s built on a thousand tiny steps.
If you wait tomorrow, you know that it’s not gonna happen.
You don’t have to be great to start. But you do have to start.
What’s one step you’re taking today? Hit reply—I’d love to hear it.
