How to End Writer’s Block for Good

Hey there,

Let’s face it—everyone gets stuck; you’re not the only one.

"What do I even write about?"

Writer’s block happens to everyone. Even after countless posts, I still run into it.

When I hesitated for a while to start my weekly newsletter, it was because I knew I’d get stuck, not knowing what to write.

Then, after I told myself to start, this really happened to me.

If you’ve been here for a while, you know that in the beginning, I wasn’t consistent in sending you my letters.

I decided I would send out at least one letter each Saturday. At the beginning of each week, I wouldn’t start, thinking I still had time, so I’d wait to figure out what I wanted to write about.

But time doesn’t wait for you.

By Friday, I’d start worrying about what I was even going to write, and I’d have no idea.

Then on Saturday, I’d get up in the morning, sit at my desk, and look at Instagram, trying to find some inspiration for what to write.

You know that feeling, right?

But here’s the truth: you don’t have to avoid it. You just need to know how to push through.

Here’s how to break free and stay consistent:

  1. Write Every Day

Ideas don’t just show up—you’ve got to make room for them. Write daily.

Jot down ten quick drafts or thoughts. Let them sit overnight, then refine.

The more you write, the easier it gets.

  2. Consume Less, Create More

Netflix binges and endless scrolling? They drain your energy. Protect your focus.

Save your best energy for creating, not consuming.

  3. Move Your Body

Stuck? Move. Go for a walk, hit the gym, or step outside. A fresh perspective comes with fresh air.

    Movement fuels creativity.

  4. Turn Conversations into Content

Listen to your friends. What sparks debates, laughs, or curiosity?

Chances are, your audience will connect with those same topics.

  5. Ask Questions

After you read or watch something, ask:

    • What did I learn?

    • Do I agree? Why or why not?

    • How would I explain this in one sentence?

These questions help you turn the world around you into content gold.

Remember: Your content is your perspective. That’s what makes it stand out.

You don’t have to be great to start. You have to start to be great.
